We vacated the caravan park about 9:45am and parked at the back of the main street of Deloraine. They have a street scape of miniture statures up and down the main street.  Lots of art and craft shops but naturally all closed on sundays.  The volunteers at the tourist information helped us out with loads of information.

We then headed out of town travelling through to Launceston via Westbury, Hadley, Carrick, Hadspen and Entally.  Launcston was just a drive through as we will return once we do southern and centre Tasmania.  Twenty – six years ago we did visit Grindelwald Swiss Village and what a change.  When we were previously here it was very early days with just the village, no accomodation, bare fields under some construction.  Now the grounds are all treed, heaps of accommodation and the whole hill is a residential suburb.

It was a short drive from here to our overnight RV camp at Gravelly Beach Boat Ramp.  There are six bays set aside for overnight RV use from 5PM to 9AM.
