The run to Queenstown is windy and big descents but the road conditions are good as the weather was fine. Just had to use the gears in manual and take our time. Stopped along the way at Linda to see the building ruins of the hotel and a walk to Horsetail Falls. The view was well worth it but we only needed to walk half way to get the best view. Once we arrived at Queenstown we walked the town, did the museum at the Info Centre. Decided against the free camp at the gravel footy oval and stayed at the caravan park. Would stay here again if we came back. As the weather predicted, it bucketed down rain all night, so we made the right choice.
