There were some minor road works on the way to Wynyard, but it was a good run. We had a change of plans and booked into the Beach Retreat Tourist Park for 3 nights. We were lucky as there had been a cancellation just before we rang up. We got some information about the Tulip Festival which is on this weekend and then headed for Woolworths to do a shop. The info centre had long parks and was close enough to Woolworths to use the trolley to unload at the Knaus House. The tourist park is a bit unique. Not that many sites but lots of quirky gardens and beautiful lawns. We are finding that quite a few parks do not have an on site dump point. However there always seems to a public one available in most towns. Facilities are old but appear to be well maintained and most importantly, clean.
