The scenery travelling along the Forth River down through Wilmot was picturesque for the passenger but driving required full attention. There were a few logging trucks, both coming and going, lots of bends and hills, but we took our time and completed the journey to Cradle Mountain safely. We had decided to stay at the Discovery Caravan Park for the two nights. It was a great decision with the price being better than we expected, just under $60 a night with our GDAY discount. Everything was brand new or undergoing refurbishment. The best part was that we were able to park up for the two days as it was only a 10 minute walk to catch the shuttle bus. We completed the short walks at the Ranger Station and did a limited walk at Dove Lake. With the weather being spot on, we were really pleased that we had decided to come.
