This was planned to be our last day on the road before home. As we left Tenterfield, we did a quickshop and headed towards the border. The fires of 2 months ago still scarred the land either side of the highway. But amazingly, there was heaps of green grass growth to contrast the black tree trunks. We celebrated our return to Queensland at Wallangarra and took some photos of the border. Our run through Ipswich was delayed by 15 minutes as we were caught up in the traffic where there was a truck roll over. The toll way onto the Bruce Highway was busy and slow and it was great to see that Bribie Island turnoff.
