We found the road between Thallon and Dirranbandi narrow in some places but travelling to the condition, all was good. Stopped at the bakery at Dirranbandi for morning tea. Not a cheap exercise but we enjoyed it. When we arrived at Hebel, it was quite busy. After parking up in the free camp behind the store, we had a ginger beer at the pub. We were invited to join two other couples sitting there. Anne and Greg from Bellmere and Allan and Robin from Palm Beach, travelling in their twin Sunliner motorhomes.
