After leaving Eldorado Caravan Park at 10am, we had the day to fill in before sailout.  We visited Bunnings and sourced some o rings for the gas cyclinder connection.  The sausages sizzle was too inviting so we had one each. enjoy.

We then did a drive past the terminal entrance for the Spirit of Tasmania so we could get our bearings later.  We were fortunate to find a suitable RV park at the southern end of the esplanade with no time limit. We checked out all the water areas, a train ride, the pier, the carousel and then headed up into town and had lunch at the shopping centre.  By the time we had a liesurely walk back to the motorhome is was nearly 2 PM.

We retraced our path back to the terminal (2:30pm) and there was space in the carpark for us. Ferry goers were already lined up at the registration gate.  They opened the registration gates at about 3:30pm so we joined the que and by 4pm we had our boarding tickets and had our quarintine inspection completed.  We had a butane canister confiscated. As it had been used, I had already removed it from the stove.  However it must have the cap on it.  I had aready disposed of it, so keep the cap.

We were then lined up in lanes and waited for boarding.  The boarding process started about 4:45pm and we were on board and leaving the motorhome by 5:30pm.  After finding the lift from level 3, we went up to level 8 at the rear for recliner seats for the night.
